Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Quality Assurance to lead our Inspection Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management systems and a deep understanding of FAA regulations to include the authority for approving components for Return to Service. In Addition the Director of Quality Assurance is responsible for directing, planning, and laying out the details of inspection standards, methods, and procedures used by our company in compliance with all applicable FAR's, Manufacturer Specifications and recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Being able to read, understand, and write the English language.
- Following the Policies and procedures in the current issue of the Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual and Employee Handbook.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations, with methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, tools used to determine Airworthiness of an article after maintenance was performed.
- Proficient in the use of Inspection, measuring and visual aids .
- Ascertaining that all inspections are properly performed on all completed work before it is approved to return to service.
- Determining that no defective, unserviceable, or un-airworthy parts are installed in any components or articles released by our repair station.
- Maintaining accurate records of all inspection, repair, and overhauls performed.
- Maintaining the Technical Library including A.Ds, CMMs, SBs, etc.
