Top candidates will have a strong knowledge of design, production, and implementation of renewable energy development projects and civil/site projects. Job duties include:
- Perform site visits for project feasibility
- Assist with preliminary site layouts
- Develop comprehensive solar designs including site plans, structural drawings and engineering calculations
- Provide design and technical implementation of a high-quality project within the intended scope, timeframe, budget, and client expectations
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- 5 years professional engineering experience, including recent experience with renewable energy projects such as solar farms, battery storage and/or wind
- Experience with Site plan design, grading design, and stormwater and hydraulic calculations, as well as familiarity with State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR), Department of Environmental Conservation stormwater permitting, and code review
- EIT or PE preferred but not required
