Description :
Seeking amotivated Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Network Systems Integrator to join the Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration Directorate (S3I) Joint Technology Center - Systems Integration Lab (JSIL) Tech Center.
The UAS Network Systems Integrator will perform system level installation, configuration, automation, test, and analysis on Multi-layer Switches, Firewalls, Linux based operating systems, and hypervisor-based environments with a majority of the work geared toward network equipment considerations.
Responsibilities :
- Work with software developers and systems engineers to design and integrate network configurations, firewall configurations, and associated documentation.
- Work within an Agile scrum development model supporting the development of full system installation images on a biweekly basis.
- Troubleshoot network issues on virtual and physical switches and firewalls.
- Ability to work within a VMWare environment to design automated system and network configurations.
- Proficient in group policy and active directory manual and automated configuration.
- Write system scripts in Bash, PowerShell, Java, and Python to develop automated network configuration installation and automate single touch installation of network devices.
- Automate the creation, deployment, and configuration of virtual machines, containers, and networks as part of a global UAS system installation.
- Automate the creation, deployment, and configuration of virtual firewalls and Cloud Server Routers as part of one touch installations.
- Develop engineering technical material including but not limited to system description documents, network installation guides, data flow, and network diagrams.
