Highfields, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified Family Counselor for our Family Preservation Program serving clients in Lenawee County.
Services provided are during traditional and non-traditional hours allowing for a flexible schedule. You are not expected to be in the office when not serving clients. All paperwork and documentation may be performed remotely.
To do well in this role, you will need to have a strong background in child and family counseling. Interpersonal skills are necessary to gain client trust, along with excellent communication, and a passion for helping others. Experienced in evidence-based treatment models and person-centered planning.
Bachelor's level starts at $43,000; Master's at $48,000 (please see minimum qualifications below).

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s MUST have the following: Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP) - bachelor's degree in a mental health-related field from an accredited school who is trained and has three years supervised experience in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families.
Master's degree in counseling, social work, or directly related field.
Valid driver's license.
State licensure commensurate with required degree (Consideration given if currently in process of obtaining or ability to obtain.).
Having good interpersonal skills, flexible, hopeful/optimistic, culturally sensitive, and self-awareness.
Salary : $43,000 - $48,000
