Requirements
Requirements & Responsibilities:
- 1 years of experience in a dental office setting (oral surgery preferred).
- 1 years of receptionist experience in a medical office required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Consistent professional appearance and attitude.
- Greet & Register patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Establish and maintain excellent communication with patients.
- Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate staff.
- Schedule patients for appointments.
- Verify patient information, and insurance coverage, and obtain benefits.
- Collect and post payments.
- Prepare reports and deposits.
- Manage communication with referring offices.
- Maintain accurate notations in accounts.
- Prepare estimates based on treatment plans.
