Key Responsibilities
- Answer and manage a high volume of patient calls while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
- Assist patients and referring dental offices with scheduling clinical procedures.
- Gather and update patient referral information, ensuring accuracy in medical charts.
- Collect insurance details from referring offices before patient consultations.
- Handle patient concerns with empathy while efficiently managing call times (3–5 minutes per referral).
- Maintain a strong understanding of scheduling, insurance, and billing processes in a dental office setting.
- Utilize our electronic records system (Care Stream) with speed and accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure smooth patient experiences.
- Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and dependable.
- 1 year of experience in a high-volume call center environment (required).
- 1 year of experience in a customer service role (required).
- Experience in an oral surgery or dental office is a plus but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to work on-site at our Dothan, Alabama office (local candidates or those willing to relocate only).
