Weoperate communities in the western US and are seeking the right Care Partner / Caregiver to join our team. This position can be full-time or part-time and includes beingresponsible for the care of our residents, which can be hands-on and / orstand-by assistance as needed. AtHighgate, providing care means to provide for the whole person, providingphysical assistance with activities of daily living and emotional, psychological,and soulful support.
The successful candidate will be an organized and detail-orientedindividual with a positive and self-motivated attitude. You must have strong communicationand critical thinking abilities as interacting with seniors while providingcare requires both abilities. - Comfortable to adapt quickly to thechanging needs of an older adult
- An understanding or the willingness togain an understanding of the various forms of dementia and how residents withdementia can continue live with purpose
RELATABLE EXPERIENCE :
QUALIFICATIONS :
1- At least 18 years of age
2- Ability to obtain CPR & First AidCertification
3- Ability to obtain required caregivinglicense within specified timeframe if necessary
4- Current negative TB test
5- Possess the ability to sit, stand, bend,and move continuously during work hours
6- Ability to carry or transfer up to50lbs with assistance
7- Ability to pass criminalrecord / background check
8- Be efficient and exercise good timemanagement skills
9- Must be able to work wellindependently with little oversight
10- Must have a track record of top-notchorganizational abilities and communication skills
11- Willing to attend and incorporate intoyour work efforts different types of training

The hourly wage range for this position is$17.00 to $21.00 per hour. Priorexperience working with seniors is a plus.
