About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a per diem basis. This position will be based in the Behavioral Health unit of Highland Clarksburg Hospital, where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient care: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with various behavioral health needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Certification: Hold a valid WV or Compact Nursing License.
- Experience: Possess approximately 1.5 years of experience in Behavioral Health or Psychiatric nursing.
- Training: Complete WV Care Fingerprinting and CPI training (offered onsite).
Schedule and Orientation:
- Orientations: Attend two-day orientation sessions every other week, covering hospital policies, EMR training, and CPI if necessary.
- Shifts: Work 12-hour shifts from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Additional Details:
- No prior staff employees or travelers accepted for per diem positions.
- Weekend availability is highly preferred.
- Covid vaccine not required; flu vaccine required with exemptions considered.
