SUMMARY
This position performs all duties assigned by the Director of Admissions pertaining to student recruitment and enrollment management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Communicate with prospective students via email, text, phone, written correspondence, online chat, twitter, and other current methods of social media.
2. Present the College in a positive manner to diverse populations.
3. Conduct high school visits (as assigned) for the purpose of student recruitment.
4. Participate in College Planning Conferences.
5. Participate in tele-recruiting.
6. Conduct campus visits as required.
7. Help with maintaining the recruitment data base and direct mail/email/text campaigns.
8. Responsible for collecting and providing graphic representation of data as it relates to admissions work.
9. Work with the admissions team to create new recruitment campaigns.
10. Partner with faculty to recruit students to various programs.
11. Travel to area high schools and beyond for recruiting purposes. Some overnight may be required.
12. Conduct additional Admissions activities as required.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Related experience and/or training desired.
- Must have good to excellent computer skills incluidng a thorough knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Experience with current methods of social media required.
Certificates/Licenses/Registrations
Must have a valid drivers license and a good driving record with no major infractions in the past five years.
Other
- Strong interpersonal skills are a necessity.
- Must have excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and excellent recordkeeping skills.
- Must be able to use and understand the importance of social media technology in a college setting.
- Must have a high degree of integrity, be an innovative thinker, and a teamwork attitude to increase enrollment in a rural setting.
- Should have a service orientation and positive attitude toward students, employees, and community people who interact with the College.
Salary : $34,000 - $38,000
