Part-time Supplemental Instruction Leader
Specializing in Agriculture
Highland Community College, is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual for a part-time Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader, specializing in Agriculture for the Spring 2025 semester. The person hired for this position will be the assigned SI leader for the Agriculture program. This position will work approximately 12 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplemental Instruction (SI) is an internationally recognized academic assistance program where SI leaders focus on helping students in selected class(es) by actively engaging them with the course material and providing support to students in at least three to five 50-minute study sessions per week using collaborative learning techniques on difficult concepts throughout the semester. Additionally, SI leaders attend class sessions for courses and/or programs they are assigned to, work closely with instructors, assess student progress, and participate in trainings and meetings.
Implement suggestions: SI leaders implement suggestions from their supervisors.

Education and Experience:
Agriculture coursework/work experience required, background in Agriculture or equivalent experience in other industries.

Compensation: $27.30 - $31.59 per hour
