We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Server to join our team. As a Bartender/Server you will be responsible for serving food and drinks, and ensuring that all guests have a memorable time at our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Take customer orders for both food and drink, accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service practices are followed.
- Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar for events or banquets as needed.
Skills
- Experience in food service, demonstrating strong customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in tending bar, mixing cocktails, and serving other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members to enhance sales through effective communication and service.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively and create a welcoming atmosphere.
