Position Overview

The Highland County Board of Supervisors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced part-time County Attorney to join our team. As a key member of our staff, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to the Board of Supervisors and other county officials.

• Main Responsibilities:
• Advise the Board of Supervisors on various matters, including solid waste removal, budgetary issues, and zoning regulations.
• Represent the County in court proceedings, negotiate contracts and leases, and collect delinquent fees.
• Provide legal guidance to constitutional officers, building administrators, and planning commission members.
