Dental Hygienist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the highest standards of dental hygiene, and maintaining accurate medical records. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, aseptic techniques, and the ability to work effectively in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care using Dentrix or similar software.
- Assist in the management of patient care, including scheduling appointments and following up on treatment plans.
- Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during procedures.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix or Epic is advantageous.
- Familiarity with dental assisting tasks and medical documentation processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) systems and dental terminology is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $47.96 - $49.92 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
