What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Worker- Crisis Residential Program position at Highland Health Systems?
We are seeking 2nd shift and 3rd shift workers.
**HHS IS OFFERING $1,000.00 SIGN ON BONUS FOR EMPLOYEES WHO COMPLETE ONE YEAR OF EMPLOYMENT.**
SUMMARY:
Under close supervision, generally by the Crisis Residential Program supervisor, assists with the care and treatment of clients. May provide individualized tutoring to clients and teaching basic living skills.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Participates in direct care services as instructed by supervisor.
2. Develops and implements daily schedules of activities.
3. Monitors and reports behavioral observations.
4. May complete progress notes, summaries and other administrative reporting requirements.
5. May transport clients.
6. All shifts are “wake” shifts.
7. Responsible for the storage and protection of consumer records, including compliance with the Heath Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996.
8. Must complete and maintain MAC certification.
9. Must be certified in first aid and CPR. CPR certification requires that the employee be able to physically demonstrate that he or she is able to perform the skill on-the-ground (i.e., as in a real life situation.)
10. Performs other reasonable, related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management, as required.

4. Knowledge of office practices, procedures and equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Valid Alabama Driver's License.
Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
