This position is based at our corporate office in Lakeland, Florida, with regular hours scheduled Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Review loan applications and preapprovals, documenting key details in the database for management reports and following up with Lenders as needed.
- Monitor and update weekly status reports from Lenders, ensuring accurate and timely data entry for internal reporting.
- Distribute status reports to Lenders for their review and reference.
- Process incoming checks and wire transfers, accurately entering details into the database and coordinating with Lenders for proper sourcing.
- Serve as a key point of contact for Lenders and Sales Team Members, addressing inquiries related to Buyers and Realtors.
- Audit Buyer Contract Deposit Schedules for accuracy, proactively following up with Sales Team Members regarding past-due amounts.
- Verify notes and deposit schedules to confirm homes are eligible for construction release once permits are approved.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of office experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience in the lending or mortgage industry.
