Responsibilities:
- Lead the Quality Control Unit in ensuring the quality of our products
- Oversee various aspects of our operations, including maintaining quality control records, developing standard operational procedures, and interacting with regulatory agencies
- Supervise quality control staff and communicate with multiple departments throughout the organization
- Assist with document management and audit records
- Maintain a safety conscious attitude and excellent attendance
Requirements:
- Strong background in food manufacturing or other manufacturing facilities
- Knowledge of HAACP and Food Defense Programs
- Familiarity with FDA Regulation 21 CFR Part 111
- Working understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Excellent communication skills, negotiation abilities, and critical thinking skills
