Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced sales professional with a proven track record in outside sales within the industrial softwood packaging lumber industry. The ideal candidate will bring an established book of business and at least five years of demonstrated success in sales. This role requires the ability to identify new business opportunities, maintain strong client relationships, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand sales within the industrial packaging and crating lumber sector.
- Maintain and grow an existing portfolio of clients while actively prospecting new business.
- Build and foster longterm relationships with customers by providing expert product knowledge and tailored solutions.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment.
- Meet or exceed sales quotas and revenue goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience in the industrial softwoods packaging lumber industry.
- Established book of business in the sector.
- 4year college degree or equivalent sales/business experience.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Selfmotivated, resultsdriven, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
