Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laundry Worker to join our team. The Laundry Worker will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, garments, and other items are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. If you have a keen eye for detail and take pride in your work, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and sort soiled linens, garments, and other laundry items.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment.
- Fold, stack, and distribute clean laundry to designated areas.
- Inspect linens and garments for damage or stains and report any issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
- Follow all safety and infection control procedures.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of laundry supplies.
Experience:
Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
Skills:
- Ability to operate laundry machinery and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy laundry bags and equipment.
