Highlands Oaks Health Center, a beautiful newly renovated nursing home near McConnelsville, Ohio seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team. As the Director of Nursing (DON). You will oversee nursing operations, manage staffing and budgeting, and foster an environment that promotes professional growth and clinical excellence.

Director of Nursing (RN) Responsibilities:

· Assure that residents receive the highest quality care

· Facilitate excellent relationships through open channels of communication with residents, families, and staff.

· Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations

· Update, and communicate nursing standards, written policies and procedures, job descriptions, and goals and objectives

· Collaborate and partner with hospitals, physicians, pharmacy and other medical professionals to promote quality care and independence for our residents

· Participating in leadership team decisions

· Provide on-call support for facility

Director of Nursing (RN) Requirements:

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare management role, preferably in assisted living or long-term care.

· Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals at all levels

· Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire a team

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment
