Transportation Aide / Driver Responsibilities
- Operates community vehicle to transport residents and / or staff and assigned errands.
- Assists passengers in entering and exiting vehicle in accordance with all applicable regulations.
- Maintains community vehicles according to the manufacturer’s specified calendar of scheduled maintenance.
- Maintains mileage log as assigned.
- Reports all incidents, accidents, necessary repairs or malfunctions immediately to Supervisor.
- Coordinates with supervisor daily for schedule or resident appointments.
- Accompanies staff to resident doctor appointments staying with resident, until return to campus.
- Complies with the Company’s Motor Vehicle Safety Program.
- Responds to resident requests for transportation by reporting requests to immediate supervisor.
