What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner position at Highland Pediatrics?
We are a large pediatric practice with an exciting opportunity for a BEHAVIORAL HEALTH THERAPIST who has experience and/or interest in working with children, teens, and families. You would be joining our growing Behavioral Health Program that we’ve established for patients of our practice. The program currently consists of one Psychiatric NP (we intend to hire a second), various social workers, and a department nurse manager who has years of experience working with the wider mental health community in our area. A consulting psychiatrist also participates in the program. You would be serving the therapeutic needs of our patients with a focus of coordinating therapy with our PsyNP patients, which will provide our patients comprehensive care in a single, familiar setting. The position requires the ability to work without behavioral health supervision on site. Salary is commensurate with training and experience and can be supported with incentives. LICSW, LMHC, and clinical psychologists are welcome to apply. We are located in southeastern New England. Please contact Dr. Wayne Siegel or Harvey Scher at wsiegel@highlandpedsfr.com or hscher@highlandpedsfr.com, respectively, if interested. We’re excited about taking this step and look forward to hearing from you.
