Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager with LIHTC experience to oversee the daily operations of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of property management, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role involves managing tenant relationships, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and maintaining the overall condition of the properties. This position will also include a 3-bedroom apartment with rent and utilities paid.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including tenant relations, leasing, and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws related to property management.
- Handle lease agreements, renewals, and terminations while ensuring all contracts are executed properly.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee property maintenance and repairs, coordinating with vendors and contractors as needed.
- Implement effective marketing strategies to attract new tenants and maximize occupancy rates.
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi for tracking leases, payments, and maintenance requests.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and address any issues promptly.
- Stay informed about market trends in real estate to make informed decisions regarding property management.
Experience
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is essential.
- Strong knowledge of legal administrative processes related to real estate and property management.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and upselling techniques is preferred.
- Experience with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties is required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to build relationships with tenants and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
