Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Bartender/Server who is equally strong behind the bar and on the floor. This is a dual-role position, and every team member must be able to serve tables and tend bar with confidence and efficiency.
This position is not for beginners. Applicants must be proficient in high-volume service, multitasking, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Day shift employees must be capable of handling the entire restaurant solo—covering the bar and serving tables without missing a beat.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service while balancing both bartending and serving duties.
- Bartending: Prepare cocktails, pour beers, ordering, stocking & pricing beer, maintain a clean and organized bar, and handle cash/card transactions efficiently.
- Serving: Take orders, run food, and manage multiple tables while maintaining accuracy and speed.
- Day Shift Expectation: Independently manage the entire floor and bar when scheduled during slower periods.
- Uphold all health, safety, and liquor laws to ensure responsible alcohol service.
- Maintain cleanliness, restock supplies, and assist with opening/closing duties as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the team—no task is beneath you. We need people who hustle and do what’s needed to keep things running smoothly.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, building relationships to enhance the guest experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 2 years of bartending and serving experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask between bar and floor seamlessly.
- Strong work ethic and a no-nonsense, get-it-done mentality.
- A team player who doesn’t hesitate to jump in and help wherever needed.
- Ability to handle solo shifts, taking care of both tables and bar service during day shifts.
- Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
- Confidence in handling high-volume periods efficiently and professionally.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
