JOB SUMMARY: The Client Support Worker (CSW) works with individuals with a diagnosis of Intellectual Developmental Disability (IDD). The CSW provides services based upon the individual’s needs, abilities, and health conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Transport individuals on outings, to doctor appointments and other activities in the community.
- Assist with bathing, toileting needs, and dressing individuals.
- Assist with changing soiled briefs.
- Will document in Carelogic daily and complete the note by the end of your shift.
- Use adaptive equipment with individuals that you work with.
- Complete all trainings in Relias.
- Complete CPR/1st Aid, CPI, and Defensive Driving on time
- Attend all staff meetings
- Prepare a meal according to the menu
- Monitor spending money with other team members daily
- Housekeeping (examples but not limited to: laundry, dishes, making beds, sweeping, mopping, dusting)
- Community outings (i.e, haircuts, bowling, movies, library, out to eat, shopping)
- Goal Tracking per ISP
- May have to assist with catheter care
- Work as a team player
- Assist with grocery shopping (only when manager is not available)
- Participate in monthly drills
- Communicate with visitors that come to the home
- Learn the needs of the individuals you serve
- Complete Non-Serious Incident Reports
- Report any medical issues to supervisor
- May volunteer in an open position at any of the other group homes
- Work holidays if scheduled

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 6 months experience with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
- CNA Certification preferred.
- Computer skills, Organizational and teaching skills, ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Bi-lingual abilities a plus
