Highland Rivers Behavioral Health provides treatment and recovery services to individuals impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders and intellectual developmental disabilities.
JOB SUMMARY: The IDD Support Tech is an administrative position that supports the IDD Operations but is on-call and is back up support for the group home. The IDD Support Tech works with individuals with a diagnosis of Intellectual Developmental Disability (IDD). The CSW provides services based upon the individual’s needs, abilities, and health conditions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Scanning and uploading documents, filing
- Answering phones and making calls
- Assisting DDP's, case managers and nurses
- Attending home provider meetings
- Monitoring and running reports.
- On-Call rotation: If there is a call out at the group home, this staff will be the fill in for the shift that is needed.
- Transport individuals on outings, to doctor appointments and other activities in the community.
- Medication Administration and documenting appropriately.
- Attendance is required for all staff meetings.
- Work as a team player
- Complete Non-Serious Incident Reports.
- Report any medical issues of individuals to supervisor.
- Work holidays if scheduled.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 6 months’ experience with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
- CNA Certification preferred.
- Computer skills, Organizational and teaching skills, ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to pass background investigation, drug screen and have good 7 yr. motor vehicle report.
- Bi-lingual abilities a plus
