We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Perform phlebotomy procedures, including blood sampling and venipuncture, with precision and care.
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory analysis while adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using medical terminology.
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a clinical laboratory or hospital setting to ensure efficient workflow.
- Educate patients on procedures, tests, and follow-up care as needed.
- Uphold strict hygiene standards and maintain an organized workspace to promote safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience or training in phlebotomy, specimen collection processing, and blood sampling is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and physiology knowledge.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Familiarity with clinical laboratory operations within a hospital or healthcare setting is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant or relevant training is preferred but not mandatory.
