Overview:
As a Van Assembly Technician, you will be at the heart of our production process. Working alongside a team of experts, you’ll assemble high-quality components that transform raw materials into beautifully engineered living spaces. Every van we build reflects our commitment to precision, innovative design, and performance—ensuring that our customers enjoy the freedom and luxury of a custom-built adventure van.
The Job:
- Compensation: $17-$27/hour plus performance-based bonuses
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (with occasional 1- to 2-day travel as needed)
- Benefits: Ample paid time off and 401k
Key Responsibilities:
- Precision Assembly: Build and install key components including floors, walls, ceilings, cabinetry, and custom interior features with meticulous attention to detail.
- Component Preparation: Cut and shape van structures such as roofs, windows, and external elements to meet our exacting design standards.
- Systems Integration: Collaborate with the engineering team to install advanced electrical, plumbing, and climate control systems—integrating modern solutions like SpaceX Starlink connectivity, solar/lithium power systems, and more.
- Tool Mastery: Utilize a range of power tools, CNC equipment, and other modern manufacturing instruments to ensure every assembly is completed to perfection.
- Quality Assurance: Adhere to rigorous safety and quality guidelines, ensuring each van meets our standards of durability, style, and performance.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute ideas and feedback to enhance processes, demonstrating a positive, problem-solving attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.

- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience working with power tools, air tools, and precision manufacturing equipment.
- A strong work ethic combined with the ability to solve problems creatively and meet deadlines consistently.
- Experience in automotive assembly, construction, or manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in finish carpenter, vehicle mechanical work or automotive assembly.
- Skills: Familiarity with modern manufacturing processes and tools; attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
