We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in our new location. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, creating a welcoming and positive experience. Your primary responsibilities will include providing exceptional administrative support, ensuring smooth office operations, and assisting our healthcare team in delivering quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Check in patients, verify insurance information, and collect co-payments.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring timely and efficient patient flow.
- Answer and direct phone calls promptly, providing accurate information and assistance.
- Manage and maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Assist with various administrative tasks, such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Respond to emergencies in a calm and collected manner, following established protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred.
- Bilingual, English and Spanish- Verbal & Written
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A positive and can-do attitude.
