Responsibilities
Highlands Behavioral Health System is an 86 bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Littleton, CO. Highlands features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs.
Under direct supervision, the Dietary Aide position consists of preparing food for patients, hospital and medical staff, and maintaining the Food Services Department in a sanitary manner.
Job Summary
- Helps prepare and serve food for patients, cafeteria and medical staff.
- Maintains safe and sanitary conditions of work area.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Collaborates with hospital personnel and medical staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Promotes a positive working environment and guest relations.
- Promotes safety by attending mandatory in services and complies with all safety measures initiated by the facility

Qualifications
Education / Experience
A High School education or equivalent is preferred. Experience in food service work required, and experience in an institutional food service facility is preferred.
