Project Director – Recovery Court
The purpose of this position is to ensure program adherence to national best practice standards, to the extent practicable, through provision of direct oversight of daily recovery court operations, staff and functioning, including ensuring coverage of offender supervision with absences. This position serves as the liaison with the Judge and between all recovery court team members and is charged with making sure the operations are consistent with program priorities of thorough and high-quality community/home-based surveillance, cross-systems team collaborations, randomized and observed screening protocol and treating participants with respect while providing advocacy and accountability for change.
Position Specifics
Location: Abingdon, VA
Status: Full-time, Exempt, Flexible schedule opportunity
Compensation: $52,000 – Commensurate with education/experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in human services or criminal justice.
Experience: Three (3) years intensive programming operations and criminal justice/clinical intensive participant supervision.
