Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Perform basic life support and emergency procedures as needed.
- Manage patient intake, including recording medical histories and vital signs.
- Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, ensuring efficient flow within the clinic.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical coding for billing purposes.
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by physicians.
- Conduct X-ray procedures when required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide medical administrative support, including managing correspondence and filing documents.
- Support specialized care in areas such as geriatrics, urgent care, PICU, and emergency medicine as needed.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology and human anatomy.
- Proficiency in basic life support techniques.
- Experience with medical coding practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with urgent care protocols and procedures.
- Ability to perform X-ray imaging safely and effectively.
