Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients. The Maintenance Technician will work independently and as part of a team, contributing to the overall maintenance and repair of residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to assist in troubleshooting issues.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
- Supervise junior maintenance staff as needed, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Execute residential painting tasks as part of property upkeep.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Skills
- Proficient in mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for various systems.
- Experience in welding is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for managing maintenance tasks is desirable.
- Previous experience in supervising maintenance staff is an advantage.
