**Job Summary:** As a Leasing Agent, you will play a vital role in showcasing our property to prospective residents, providing excellent customer service, and assisting in the leasing process. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with potential tenants, showcase available units, and facilitate lease agreements. This position will be required work on Saturdays from 10-3 with one day off during the week. The Leasing Agent will primarily be based at The Jasper but will travel to Goshen Estates as needed.
**Responsibilities:** - Respond promptly to inquiries via phone and email, aiming to schedule property viewings. - Welcome and guide prospective residents through property tours, highlighting unit features and amenities. - Follow up with potential tenants who have not yet leased. - Verify eligibility of applicants according to regulations and company procedures. - Support Property Manager in marketing activities, promotions, and competitor surveys. - Handle rent collection and maintain accurate records. - Address and resolve tenant complaints, disturbances, and violations professionally. - Maintain confidentiality of resident data in compliance with regulations. - Process move-in and move-out documentation efficiently.
**Qualifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus. - Leasing experience is required. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. - Familiarity with leasing processes, negotiation skills, and conflict management. - Knowledge of Yardi software is advantageous. - Understanding of legal administrative procedures related to property leasing.
