Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and credentialed therapist specializing in Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) treatment to join our CARF-accredited and OHMAS-certified outpatient treatment team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions, including evening IOP groups.
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new programs and curriculum.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with both clients and team members.
Qualifications
- A valid and active license in the State of Ohio at the LCDC II level or higher (LCDC III, LICDC) or a professional license such as LSW, LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LISW, LISW-S, or equivalent.
- Preferred experience in Mental Health and AOD treatment, though we are open to training the right candidate.
- Familiarity with DSM-5 and the ability to diagnose mental health disorders (training available if needed).
- Strong skills in client assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, demonstrating cultural competency.
