We are looking for a dedicated, credentialed professional specializing in Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) treatment to join our CARF-accredited and OHMAS-certified outpatient team in Circleville, Ohio. Responsibilities
- Clinical Assessments & Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for individuals with substance use concerns.
- Therapeutic Sessions: Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions, including evening IOP groups.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with an interdisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive patient care and discuss treatment goals.
- Program Development: Participate in the development and implementation of new programs and curriculum.
- Communication & Reporting: Maintain clear and effective communication with both clients and team members, adhering to documentation and reporting standards.
Qualifications
- License/Certification:
- A valid and active license in the State of Ohio at the LCDC II level or higher (LCDC III, LICDC), OR
- A professional license such as LSW, LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LISW, LISW-S, or equivalent, OR
- A valid CDCA (Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant) certification.
- Experience: Preferred experience in AOD treatment. (Experience or interest in mental health is a plus but not required; we are open to training the right candidate.)
- Clinical Skills: Strong skills in client assessment, therapeutic interventions, and documentation.
- Communication & Cultural Competency: Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, demonstrating cultural competency.
