The Role : As a CNA at Highlight Healthcare of Aurora, you will play a crucial role in our residents' daily lives, helping them feel comfortable, cared for, and supported. We’re looking for individuals who have a strong sense of empathy, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to make every resident’s day that much brighter.
Key Responsibilities :
Care Champion : Provide high-quality, compassionate care to residents, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times. Assist with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Resident Support Specialist : Assist with mobility, including lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents to various locations (bed, chair, wheelchair, etc.) with safety and care.
Team Player : Work closely with other team members to create a positive, calm, and engaging atmosphere throughout the unit, contributing to a supportive and team-oriented environment.
Accurate Documentation : Chart promptly and accurately in the POC, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with facility standards.
Policy and Procedure Adherence : Follow all facility and departmental policies to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.

Qualifications :
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Illinois (IL CNA Certification required)
- New CNAs are welcome to apply!
- Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but not required
- Ability to lift, turn, move, and transport residents safely
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for providing quality care and enhancing the lives of others
