Highlight is seeking a Washington, DC-based MicroStrategy Lead to support our General Services Administration (GSA) Contract Team. This role will provide technical subject matter expertise in MicroStrategy development, data dissemination, and performance optimization in an Agile and cloud-based environment. The MicroStrategy Lead will drive development efforts, mentor teammates, and ensure the successful implementation of business intelligence (BI) solutions.

The MicroStrategy Lead will drive development efforts, mentor teammates, and ensure the successful implementation of business intelligence (BI) solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead, design, develop MicroStrategy applications (e.g., reports, dashboards, APIs) to disseminate data.
- Optimize SQL code and database performance.
- Improve MicroStrategy server performance.
- Implement and intergrate MicroStrategy SDK
- Implement and manage DevOps and CI/CD processes.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5 years of experience designing and developing MicroStrategy applications.
- 5 years of experience with SQL coding and optimization.
- 3 years of experience in MicroStrategy server configuration, performance tuning, and customization.
- 3 years of experience in Agile software development
- 3 years of experience implementing tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Docker/Kubernetes, and JMeter.
- 2 years of experience leading MicroStrategy development
- Experience mentoring junior BI developers.
- Demonstrated experience impliementing MicroStrategy SDK
- Expering using Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Adaptable Software Design to deliver Agile solutions.
