Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious CDL Bucket/Box Truck Driver to operate and maneuver a bucket truck for utility, lighting, and signage installation projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working at heights, performing maintenance or installations, and ensuring job site safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a bucket/box truck to access elevated work areas
• Transport equipment, tools, and materials to and from job sites
• Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs on light poles, signage, and various other hard-to-reach lighting/electrical.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck and equipment are in proper working condition
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers
• Utilize hand and power tools for repairs and installations
• Secure loads and equipment before transport
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of completed work
• Work in various weather conditions and at varying heights
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid CDL Class B or A (with air brakes endorsement preferred)
• Experience operating a bucket/box truck or aerial lift
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
• Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments
• Strong mechanical skills and ability to use hand tools
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work long shifts as needed
• OSHA certification (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent
  
  

Preferred Experience:

• Utility, telecommunications, tree trimming, or traffic signal work, lighting repairs.
• Prior work in construction, maintenance, or related fields
  
  

Work Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time (overtime may be required)
