Job Summary :

This position is responsible for the supervision of Highline Business and Residential Salespeople, as well as responsible for meeting their own individual sales goals. The Selling Sales Manager ensures all sales goals are met in a specific market. This position will also oversee the daily, weekly monthly progress of the salespeople assigned, including forecast sales, help to develop sales strategies in order to maximize the market in order to achieve company growth and to retain an existing base of customers.

What you will be doing :

  • Establish short and long-term sales goals for the sales market / region with the Chief Revenue Officer and / or the Director of Sales.
  • Drive and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity, through contact with the sales team and the use of daily / weekly sales meetings, existing turf management tools and accompanying with Sales Representatives on calls.
  • Ensure Sales Representatives are meeting required sales goals and minimum KPI expectations.
  • The Selling Sales Manager will not compete for sales with the other assigned representatives by adhering to strict turf management standards.
  • Provide direction, motivation and leadership to team members within the region.
  • Assist representatives with contract negotiations, difficult sales issues, and customers.
  • Provide ongoing sales training to increase close rates.
  • Keep updated on competition in assigned region – this includes products and services sold, pricing, packaging and selling methods
  • What You Need For This Position :

  • College degree desired but not required in lieu of applicable experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience is required in the telecommunications industry.
  • Must have a proven sales experience / accomplishments and a demonstrated track record of supervising people and large / complex projects.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings (Drug and Background)
  • Valid Driver’s License
