Retail Sales Analyst
Summary of Role
The Retail Sales Analyst plays a crucial role in our organization by analyzing sales data and providing actionable insights to improve sales productivity. This role will work closely with key business partners and cross-functional teams including but not limited to: Sales, Finance, Inventory, Marketing, and Category Analytics. This role will act as an internal consultant supporting the team to develop and execute a collaborative business strategy focused on sales volume and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential functions outlined below:
- Analyze and report data insights, identifying issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results
- Support Auto Retail business with line reviews, budgeting, forecasting, promotional, customer meetings, and other quantitative analysis
- Analyze sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and data trends that highlight opportunities and risks to the business. Sales KPIs include but are not limited to; Sales, gross margin, inventory, purchases (gross and net), damages, undamaged returns, fill rate, service level, and in-stocks
- Analyze complex data requests derived from multiple data sources in support of organizational goals and strategy for internal customers
- Build effective working relationships, partner and influence stakeholders to achieve results
- Develop an understanding of departments and targeted merchandising strategies that will drive results
- Manage, prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously with varying completion dates and competing priorities
- Protect Highline Warren's reputation by keeping information confidential

Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative or business field (Analytics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science)
- Strong technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- 1-3 years of experience in finance, business, or sales analyst role; CPG (Consumer Product Goods) a plus
- Required capabilities:
- Interpret, articulate, and present insightful actionable conclusions to stakeholders
- Take initiative and lead projects to completion, considering shifting priorities
- Create models and analysis tools that are dynamic, accurate, and easy to understand
- Experience in SQL a plus
