Job Description
We are looking for a caring and competent Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support our healthcare team at Highmark Health.
Main Responsibilities:
- Nursing care delivery: Perform tasks according to nursing practice standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Medical assistance: Support physicians during medical procedures, prepare equipment, and help with patient preparation.
- Data collection: Gather assessment data, document clinical information accurately, and prepare patients for examination.
- Test ordering: Order diagnostic tests as directed by registered nurses or physicians, reviewing results before presentation.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Licensure and certifications: Hold current state licensure as an LPN or active multi-state licensure through the eNLC, maintain CPR certification, and obtain Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearance certificates.
- Education: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Desirable qualifications: Prior experience in healthcare is beneficial but not mandatory.
