**About the Role**
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate LPN to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
Assist with the preparation of equipment and assist the clinical provider during treatment, examination, and testing of patients.
Collect assessment data, prepare patient for examination and document clinical information on patient record.
Schedule procedures and obtain authorizations as necessary.
Perform basic medical tasks such as administering medications, blood and tissue collection and/or other laboratory specimens.
Requirements:
- High School/GED diploma.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in healthcare.
- PALS or ACLS certification.
- State approved IV course certification.
- Knowledge of EPIC documentation and assessment process.
