Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results. Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure. Enters, transmits and reports scan results.
Minimum Education
Graduate of a Program in Discipline (Radiologic Technology) - Required

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications:
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required to be obtained within 90 days of employment, if not current upon hire.

Licenses:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography - Required or registry eligible. If registry eligible, must attain registration within 6 months of employment

Minimum Work Experience
New Rad Tech Graduates considered.
6 months experience as Rad Tech - Preferred for Evening, Night and Weekend Shifts.
