Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Services Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care in our fast-paced emergency department. As an RN, you will be responsible for delivering direct patient care, collaborating with the care team, and making critical decisions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process within applicable scope and standards of practice.
- Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
- Supervise nursing and support staff during assigned shifts and determine staffing levels and assignments based on staff availability, staff abilities, census, patient acuity, and work/patient flow.
