Description
Performs routine laboratory tests in various sections of the laboratory.
Reports to : Director Laboratory Services
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree Program in Laboratory (May be grandfathered in with Certification or Diploma) Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Skills
American Heart Association or American Red Cross Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of employment
State of TN MLT licensure preferred but not required
ASCP (MLT) Certification preferred Minimum Work Experience
Six months to one year experience in a Laboratory
