Description
Assists a Physical Therapist with a patient's rehabilitative activities to help reduce pain and improve mobility.
Reports to : Director Rehab Services
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistant - Required Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Skills
Certifications :
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required within 30 days of hire, if not current upon hire. Required Skills
Licenses : State of Tennessee Physical Therapy Assistant Licensure Minimum Work Experience
One year experience as Physical Therapy Assistant - Preferred
