Quality Control Inspector I
Summary:
Highpoint Signs & Apparel is a growing company in a fast environment that provides promotional products and services to local, regional, and national clients. The Quality Control Inspector I is responsible for ensuring finished garments meet quality standards.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Keep to the mission, vision, and direction of the company by implementing them on every single project.
· Help prepare garments for layout and ensure quantities match work order
· Ensure paperwork is matched with correct artwork prior to printing
· Catch and inspect each garment coming down automatic belt for misprints or defects
· Bundle and package garments into boxes neatly
· Communicate any discrepancies to printer as required
· Cross train to learn Screen Burner position
· Cross train to learn Embroidery Operator I position as time allows
· Ability to stay on task and work independently
· Utilize the tools, software, and resources available to the full potential
· Confidence, persistence, and drive for success
· Teachable and willing to learn and grow
Qualifications:
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Ability to work with a team and be a team player
· Sharp attention to detail
· Basic math skills
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
· Ability to read and understand work orders written in English
· Physical ability to stand for long periods of time
· Physical ability to bend and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
· Must have the patience and temperament to deal with fellow employees
· Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
