Description
As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable
scope and standards of practice for Medical / Surgical.
Reports to : Director Medical / Surgical B2 and B4
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Graduate of a Program in Discipline (LPN) - Required
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be
able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Computer proficiency required.
Certifications :
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required to be
current upon hire
Licenses : State of Tennessee or Multi-State LPN licensure - Required.
Proof of certification in IV therapy as mandated by the State of TN (ref : Chapter 1000-02 - .15 LPN Scope of
Practice) - Preferred
