Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Post Surgical/Ortho team at HighPoint - Sumner Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide specialized care to patients recovering from various surgical procedures.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and efficient care delivery, and maintaining accurate records and documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Current State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (RN Diploma in Nursing acceptable)
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) within 6 months of employment
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire
