Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our procurement team as an Entry-Level Procurement & Sourcing Specialist. This role will support procurement and sourcing activities, including supplier research, vendor negotiations, purchase order management, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a keen interest in supply chain and procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating potential suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Support the procurement team in processing purchase orders, obtaining quotes, and negotiating pricing.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure efficient procurement operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to anticipate procurement needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Assist in supplier performance evaluations and maintain accurate supplier databases.
- Prepare procurement reports, track key metrics, and support cost analysis efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and operations, to streamline procurement processes.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, market conditions, and emerging sourcing strategies.

Qualifications
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience), MBA desired.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Interest in procurement, sourcing, and supply chain management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
